Terms & Conditions
The booking terms that apply to all charter services operated by Coralith.
Last updated: January 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Coralith ("we," "us," or "the company"), registered at 22/8 Rassada Pier Road, Mueang Phuket, Phuket 83000, Thailand, and the guest or party ("you") who books or enquires about a charter service. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, please contact us before confirming — we are happy to discuss.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
1. Bookings & Confirmation
A booking is considered provisionally held when we confirm availability in writing by email. The booking becomes confirmed once the required deposit has been received and acknowledged by Coralith. We reserve the right to release a provisionally held date if the deposit is not received within five business days of the provisional agreement.
All bookings are subject to vessel availability and applicable permit or park conditions at the time of confirmation.
2. Payments & Deposits
Deposit
A deposit of 30% of the total charter fee is required to confirm a booking. The deposit is non-refundable except in the circumstances described in Section 3 and Section 4.
Balance
The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the charter departure date. For bookings made within 7 days of departure, the full amount is due at the time of confirmation.
Payment Methods
We accept Thai bank transfer and major credit cards. Details will be provided at the time of booking confirmation. All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Foreign currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the guest.
3. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation by the Guest
- More than 30 days before departure: deposit forfeited; balance refunded in full
- 15–30 days before departure: 50% of the total charter fee is retained; balance refunded
- Fewer than 15 days before departure: no refund is available
Date Changes
We will accommodate a single date change request at no additional charge, subject to availability and a minimum of 14 days' notice. Subsequent changes may incur an administrative fee.
Cancellation by Coralith
If we are required to cancel a confirmed booking for operational reasons within our control, we will offer a full refund of all amounts paid or a rescheduled date of your choosing, subject to availability.
4. Weather & Safety
The skipper holds final authority over all decisions relating to departure, route, and early return based on sea conditions and guest safety. This authority cannot be overridden.
If a charter is cancelled or significantly curtailed due to weather conditions or a maritime safety advisory (including Thai Meteorological Department warnings), we will offer either a rescheduled date or a credit for a future charter. Weather cancellations do not entitle guests to a cash refund beyond the amount of any unused services where a partial trip was completed.
We monitor conditions in the days leading up to each charter and will contact you as early as possible if a departure appears unlikely.
5. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are responsible for:
- Arriving at Rassada Pier at the agreed departure time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened trip with no reduction in price.
- Disclosing any medical conditions, mobility considerations, or swimming ability that may be relevant to safety or route planning.
- The behaviour and conduct of all members in their party, including children.
- Any damage caused to the vessel or equipment through negligent or reckless use.
Guests must follow all instructions from the skipper and crew at all times.
6. What Is Included
What is included in each charter varies by route and is specified at the time of booking. The following general points apply:
- The Rassada Bay Cruise includes the vessel, fuel, crew, and a basic refreshment service for the four-hour duration.
- The Phang Nga Bay Full Day includes the vessel, fuel, crew, kayaks, a Thai lunch served on deck, and multiple activity stops.
- The Similan Islands Expedition includes the vessel, fuel, crew, all meals, park entry fees, and air-conditioned cabin accommodation. Diving equipment rental is available at an additional cost.
Items not listed as included — including personal travel insurance, alcoholic beverages (beyond any specified allocation), and optional activities not listed above — are the responsibility of the guest.
7. Liability
Coralith's liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from a charter is limited to the value of the charter fee paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including travel costs, accommodation, or loss of earnings.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence on our part.
8. Insurance
The vessel carries appropriate marine insurance. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrange personal travel and activity insurance covering water sports, open-sea sailing, and any medical or evacuation costs that may arise. We do not provide guest travel or health insurance.
9. On-Board Conduct
We ask guests to treat the vessel, equipment, and crew with consideration. The skipper may, at their sole discretion, terminate a charter early and return to port if a guest's behaviour poses a safety risk or causes significant disruption. No refund will be provided in this circumstance.
Consumption of personal narcotics or controlled substances on board is not permitted and will result in immediate termination of the charter.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from a booking shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts, with disputes first referred to good-faith negotiation between the parties.
