PHANG NGA BAY FULL DAY

"The kayaking into the hidden lagoon was something I hadn't quite prepared myself for. The limestone walls go straight up from the water — it's completely silent inside. The crew knew exactly when to time the entry to avoid other boats. Lunch on deck was a bonus I hadn't expected to enjoy as much as I did."

SIMILAN ISLANDS EXPEDITION · 3 DAYS

"Three days on the Similans. I've dived in a lot of places — Komodo, the Red Sea, the Maldives — and the visibility here sat alongside the best of them. The cabin was comfortable enough, and having the park mostly to ourselves in the early mornings made the whole thing feel less touristy than I'd anticipated."

RASSADA BAY CRUISE

"We took the afternoon Rassada Bay cruise on our last full day. It was much quieter than the Chalong tours we'd seen — fewer boats and a gentler pace. The crew let us sit on the bow for most of the crossing, which is where we wanted to be. A nice way to end the trip."

PHANG NGA BAY FULL DAY

"The logistics were handled entirely on our behalf — we arrived at Rassada Pier and that was the only thing we needed to do. Nalinee had sent everything over clearly beforehand. The bay itself is extraordinary. I'd recommend building in extra time for the southern formations if you can."

SIMILAN ISLANDS EXPEDITION · 2 DAYS

"I was travelling alone and wasn't sure if a private charter made sense. It did. The skipper adjusted the pace to what suited me and the crew was easy company without being intrusive. The snorkelling at Koh Similan was better than I'd seen on organised tours."

RASSADA BAY CRUISE

"A good half-day for two. We'd seen the Phang Nga tours elsewhere and wanted something calmer. The mangrove channels were genuinely interesting — we weren't expecting to learn as much about the ecology as we did from the crew member who joined us. Would consider the full-day Phang Nga route on a return trip."

CASE STUDIES

How Specific Charters Came Together

CHALLENGE

Anniversary trip needing privacy and flexibility

A couple from the UK wanted a full-day trip that could be paced slowly — no group tour atmosphere, the option to linger at sites they liked, and a meal on the water.

SOLUTION

Phang Nga Full Day, late November departure

The charter was booked for a Tuesday morning to avoid weekend traffic in the bay. The meal was arranged around dietary preferences. Kayak time was extended at their request.

OUTCOME

9 hours on the water, returned for a second charter

The couple extended the day by an hour at their own request. They returned the following year for a Similan expedition, citing the Phang Nga experience as their reason for booking again.

CHALLENGE

First-time divers wanting an entry-level expedition

A group of four friends — two certified divers, two first-timers — wanted to combine open-water diving with snorkelling and needed a trip that could accommodate both skill levels.

SOLUTION

2-night Similan expedition, mixed activity schedule

The itinerary was built around two dive sites accessible to beginners and one deeper site for the experienced divers. Snorkelling was timed for the first-timers while the others dived.

OUTCOME

All four completed planned dives or snorkel sessions

No one missed out due to the skill gap. The crew's ability to manage concurrent activities — diving and snorkelling from the same anchor — made the schedule work without compromise.
